Thomson speedtouch 330 issues

Hey, new to fedora and im having considerably troucbles with this modem. if i look at the hardware browser, it has this device listed in the system devices and not in the usb device list, is this right?? Ive tried several walkthoughs using the shell but have had no success. any help would be much apreciated as im desperate to be windows free :o

I'm using Thomson Speedtouch as well. Speedtouchconf (http://speedtouchconf.sourceforge.net/) seems to me the easeiest and fastest solution. In fact all you have to do is to modify /etc/resolv.conf and copy mgmt.o into Speetouchconf's directory. The script does the rest for you. Good luck!
