problem with sound device with programs that use it

when i run say : skype or twinkle , then i run some audio files , then when i want to use skype or twinkle they say there are problem with audio playback , or they can't use sound device because it is busy.

how can solve this problem?

My experience is that rebooting fixes the busy problem. I suspect twinkle, the audio program I have used, does not always release the audio devices properly. I'm sure there is a better way that a reboot, after all this is not a MicroSoft product, but I have not found out how to do so.:)

I am needing suitable solutions, when i run youtube through firefox , and start any audio player , i can't hear any sound , but if i close firefox , i can hear sound , how can i solve this problem ?
