kudzu problems

hi:
i've got a wierd problem, after i deleted my hardware from network control, i reinstalled the driver, registered the modules, and it started to work. however as soon as i reboot, lsmod shows the modules are gone.

kudzu doesn't pick up the device after i reinstalled the driver this time but it did before, and during reboot it didn't say anything either, does anyone know what's going on? and how can i get kudzu to recgonise my device, or just stop deleting my modules?

thanks jimbo, the /etc/sysconfig/hwconf is really what i wanted, i tried to force kudzu to rescan my hardware but it never picked up any changes, now it's working great. thanks for your help it's really amazing.
