I think it will be a great idea to open an IRC Server/Room for fedoraforum so people can talk live with each other. :D

Aren't the existing #fedora and #fedora-devel on freenode good enough?

irc.freenode.net
I already own the access to #fedoraforum on that network. Although i can't remember the last time i sat in there by myself. You can normally find me in #fedoranews.org or #madpenguin .

Use xchat with Fedora its an easy to use irc client. Just select Freenode from the servers list.

We do not need any more fedora users fora. We have a web forum, the mailinglists and the irc-channels. We have everything you need. Adding more will only divide the community and we don't need that.

With all do respect the IRC channels do not have the same values as here. I frequently get flamed and abused. It makes me want to go back to windows. I think that it would be awsome to have an IRC channel a guy could ask any fedora question in and not be lamb blasted. IMO

Hey sundance kid I'm idle in #fedora channel I agree I hate that. But if you want help or assistance with anything linux related feel free to pm me in the channel. I'm willing to help anyone out that wants to run or learn linux.

not an irc user myself, but I assume one advantage to using this forum is that people can view pass dicussions instead of always asking the same questions.
