hey everyone,

i've gotten all my sound drivers setup (alsa drivers, als4000 is card). The problem i've encoutered now is that I can't have multilple programs play sounds, because they will crash.
I did a little searching, and discovered info about sound servers. My question to yall is: how do I set one up,and which one should I use for the best, effect?

Thanks everyone,
ben

benYou need an .asoundrc file (http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-doc/doc-php/asoundrc.php?module=Generic) in your home directory.
