k3d worked in Debian, but I'm running Gnome in FC2....do I need to load KDE in order to run K3D?

goto redhat panel >System Settings > your pass >Sound and Video and check K3B and install from cd's and enjoy :D

So my question still stands........Do I need KDE to use K3D, because I'm running out of space on my root partition, and I don't think I can take the KDE install......
