I can't get Fedora 10 x86_64 to install on my box. I've installed both Fedora 8 x86_64 and Fedora 9 x86_64 on this exact machine in the past without issue. When I boot from the install DVD, it loads vmlinuz and part way into the initrd.img load (initrd.img..........) the machine reboots. I've tried various kernel options (text, ide=nodma, acpi=off, etc) but none help. The machine always reboots at the same point.

As a point of reference / interest, I can install either Fedora 8 x86_64 or Fedora 9 x86_64 at anytime without issue (unfortunately I want to install Fedora 10). I've tried three different installation DVD's. Two I have burned myself and the third I bought from www.linuxcd.org. All behave the same.

The system is an Acer Aspire M3100 with an Athlon 64 4400+ (motherboard: Acer F690GVM w/ Phoenix bios), 4GB of ram, an NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT Display adapter with 512MB ram, an Acer P221W Monitor, 2 Western Digital 320GB hard drives and a Lite-On DVDRW.

Has anyone else had this or a similar issue? Thanks for your help.
