Has anyone gotten ACPI or APM to work on the Gatway 200ARC Centrino Laptop? When I try to check APM it says its not compiled into the Kernel but I know it is since I compiled it into it. When I check the status of ACPI it says its running, but there are no folders in /proc/acpi for battery or any of the files with ACPI info in them. If I check the APM status, it doesn't say anything.
Likewise, when I download a few different desktop apps to show my ACPI info, they don't find any battery info and just say I am on AC. Changing my grub settings to only start apm doesn't do anything either. All I can assume is that they use some different setup and the laptop isn't passing the kernel the right code.
Anyone else?
