Hello everyone.
I lately posted on the Forums that the WG311 Chipset is supported by the Prism54 driver included in the Kernel 2.6.5
It seems as the WG311 cards never had a prism54 chipset in any version. Since i have a card like this:
stiat@me# lspci
03:04.0 Ethernet Controller Atheros Communications, Inc. AR5212 802.11abg NIC (rev 01)
On the prism54.org page you can see that there is a 70% success on the WG311 cards. On the mailinglists you can see that noone really came trough configuring this card working.
I can tell you for sure that this card (Netgear WG311) does definitely not work wit FC2, at least not automatically and without to configure your card manually.
If you buy a Wireless Lan card, make sure this card uses a prism54 chipset.
