Hi there.

I'm new to the forums and wonder if you can help.

I'm already running a dual boot configuration (Vista Ultimate and Ubuntu 8.10). However I've now downloaded the i686 fedora live disk and am planning on installing Fedora 10 over Ubuntu. Will the Fedora installer automatically detect the existing Linux partion and give me the option of formatting and installing over it? If it does, how will grub be affected? I'm hoping the process will be relatively painless!

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Many thanks

Start installation. There you can chose something like "delet Linux Partition". Thats it. Grub will be replaced by the Fedora bootlaoder. But for me it worked really nice.
