Well, being you average beer guzzling, lazy, nonstop gaming, computer science college student I just wanted to hear what everyones favorite games are to play under linux...

My favorite games under linux (which do not required cedega (winex3) are :
America's Army (awesome ffs, realistic)
UT2004

These are the two main games ive been playing and i have been trying to go to sourceforge and freshmeat for some other ones... but i ran into some install problems and was too lazy to work through them...

Any other games i should check out...

I would love to come across a rally/racing games with a ton of cars, space sims, ffs, strategy games, etc...

Lets hear em'

Looks cool ... One of the things I liked about Torcs... I found it in a synaptic repository somewhere so it was easy to install.

Let me know how the install of racer goes maybe I'll give it a try

For Linux games in general try this thread (http://fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?t=464), for "3D" games, see this (http://fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?t=19911).

Hey jellywerker, I installed Cube on my FC 2 and it works well except sound. The sound is delayed by about a half a second.
Any ideas?
It works great on my Suse 9.1 with no sound problem

Yeah quite impressive that a game manufacturer actually came out with a version of a linux game.

Kinda going off topic here: HAS ANYONE BEEN ABLE TO USE TEAMSPEAK & QUAKE 3 (i play mods) in FC3t3 simultaneously?

I used to be able to in FC1... or maybe it was FC2... Please help!!!

UT2K4 is AWESOME in linux!

I played Doom 3 in windows, but didn't like it too much due to the fear that overcame me while walking those halls... :)

'chega' in portuguese mean 'to arrive' in the 3rd person of present full conjugate (http://www.verbix.com/webverbix/cache/2.chegar.html) ...

Or in other context can mean 'stop, enough'...

More knowledge to you

I would suggest "Cold War" and "savage 2" or even the first release.

Whack Bill.

What a great game, see ho many times you can Whack Bill before Windoze is on all the UNIX boxes.
