This just happened and I noticed only because there was a big white popup at the bottom right of the screen. Sure would like to drop kick the guy that turned thatt on auto thru this 4 ich edit box.
Also, are the dev geeks calling PackageKit packageDB
and version 0.3.9.4 is the one that may be optimized and buggy?
Seems to me this one is breaking the rules?

Yesterday I got some updates automatically, as in no interaction by me. The system just notified me at one point that updates had been installed. A notification popped up at the bottom right of the screen. I thought it odd but that was as far as it went. This morning there are several updates. Package Kit checked but didn't say anything. A manual yum check-update showed that they were in fact available. Output when this morning's update was completed.

If I remember correctly, there is a setting. so just look for the setting and switch it off.

The settings were set, to Automatically install nothing, but was ignored.
I changed them to Never, Nothing, Never because these updates don't seem to be correct.
First they are from Oct and I don't think createrepo and prepareupgrade are part of the the default install?
And why would they be installed? They are NOT updates.
I rebooted and during shutdown I saw part of my post text on the console?
How does text get from a web page edit box get to the system console?
It like the system has been cracked?
I'll see what happens with the next set of updates and maybe I'll reinstall.
