Hi All,
I am not new to linux but havent used fedora before.

I have bought a new Dell Studio laptop with the following configuration:
Processor - Intel Core 2 Duo (64 bit)
Chip Type - Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset Family
VGA - Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 (358 available memory)

My desktop can run ubuntu perfectly which is of a more primitive configuration.

I installed ubuntu 8.04 on my present laptop (Dell Studio) and i was never able to run it with its full graphics and good resolution. The possible reason (which i learnt from ubuntuforum) was lack of proper support for my graphics card and 965 chip. The end result was I was never able to run ubuntu with a resolution more than 800x600 while i m capable to running 1280x800.

So I am thinking to switch to Fedora Core if I can get the graphics rite!

Since I hate vista because of its speed i want to zap it asap but i need to make sure the Linux distro i will be using has sufficient graphics support for my 'poor' laptop.
So here is my question:
Does fedora core 10 supports my laptop configuration? The most important question Will I be able to run fedora core with full graphical pleasure on my laptop i-e- with Intel GMA X3100 VGA(I like the visual appearance of OS - I believe FD is capable of providing that)? If yes please guide me to the relevant documents - Or if anyone who is running Fedora Core 9 or 10 with the same laptop and configuration please help me in how to install it.

Thanks for any help!
B.
