i have tried several versions of Fedora Snapshot 3 on my Acer Apsire 5102WLMi laptop (Acer Aspire 5100 series) to no avail. I admit I am only a amature as far as Linux goes, but it gets to the screen where I should start customize the options (right after the media test) the screen goes liney and wierd. I realize this is probably a hardware problem, and I know all my hardware is fine. I can instal Fedora Core 9 fine, but not Core 10, any of the prelease versions.
My notebook is as following:
System Manufacturer: Acer
System Model: Navarro
BIOS: Ver 1.00PARTTBL
Processor: AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-50 (2 CPUs), ~1.6GHz
Memory: 4.00 GB
Graphics Card name: ATI Radeon Xpress Series 1100
Realtek RTL8139/810x Family Fast Ethernet NIC
Atheros AR5005G Wireless Network Adapter
Realtek HD Audio Device

I personally believe it is the integrated graphics card, the Xpress 1100, that is incompatible and was wondering if anyone else had any like problems or solutions
