FC9-i386-DVD Install Issues

Howdy, FC9 installation is hanging on SLUB Check, i have a HP Pavillion DV7-1010ep...

gives something like this before freezing
SLUB: Genslabs=12, HWalign=64, Order=0-1,MinObjects=4, CPUs=2, Nodes=1

can anyone help ?

Could be computer memory problem, or your dvd error. Did the checksum came up ok after download? Try burning another copy of dvd. See:

it didnt help, i re-downloaded the .iso DVD, had a positive Match with SH1SUM, and still hangs in that step

i managed to install FC9, what i did was, on Install Boot-Screen, i added the acpi=off flag, it solved the problem, i hope this helped
