View Full Version : upgrade to kernel 2.6.7 problem

hi,

i have upgrade my fedora 2 dist kernel to 2.6.7 using redhat network, and i find that in all my mounted vfat partition , when i operate file with which name include chinese character , the kernel will report segment falut. but with kernel 2.6.6 & 2.6.5 there is no such problem, can anybody say what is happening?

after i updated my box....only one issue which i knew ahead of time...ntfs partitions not mounting...other than that everything is fine running 99.9% hassle free :D

do you have a partition which there is a file with name include chinese character ,such as "你好.doc" , if you have , mount it , and ls the file .it's the problem.
