gdm problem

hi all,
i have a problem with gdm every time i update the gdm i get this error message

1:37:13 : Transaction Check Error: file /usr/share/gdm/autostart/LoginWindow/gnome-power-manager.desktop from install of gdm-1:2.24.0-10.fc10.i386 conflicts with file from package gnome-power-manager-2.23.1-2.fc10.i386
file /usr/share/gdm/autostart/LoginWindow/gnome-power-manager.desktop from install of gdm-1:2.24.0-10.fc10.i386 conflicts with file from package gnome-power-manager-2.23.3-2.fc10.i386
file /usr/share/gdm/autostart/LoginWindow/gnome-power-manager.desktop from install of gdm-1:2.24.0-10.fc10.i386 conflicts with file from package gnome-power-manager-2.23.6-1.fc10.i386

and when i use the rpm -q gdm i get this result

gdm-2.22.0-11.fc10.i386

i have tried to remove the gdms but it didn't work can any one help me plz

Try to uninstall all gdm packages:
#rpm --erase --nodeps gdm
Then install latest package from RPM or using YUM.

thank you for your reply when i do what you said i get this error

gtk-update-icon-cache: Failed to open file /usr/share/icons/hicolor/.icon-theme.cache : File exists
error: %postun(gdm-1:2.22.0-6.fc10.i386) scriptlet failed, exit status 1

Erase this file.
I guess cache should be rebuilt.

p.s.: Never be afraid of experimenting! This is beta release, you knew you might have problems, right? ;-)
