Hey there,

I 'av a laptop (Compaq presario V6000) with windows vista in it ... now I want to install Fedora. when i tried to install Fedora core 4 (FC4) it said ..."no hard drives have been found you may probably need to manually chose device drivers for installation to succeed ".... please help me out I couldnt get what it meant (I am new to computers probably will learn fast from u guys) ..what should i do to install fedora

Motherboard Name Hewlett-Packard Presario V6500 Notebook PC
BIOS phoenix

amd turion 64 X2 mobile technology Tl -58(1900 MHz)

i'd suggest you get yourself a copy of fedora 9. f4 is quite old has no support anymore
