current offical ati 8.10 does not compile on 2.6.27

I got the compiz fusion working on Fedora 10 x86_64 using the radeon driver and this thread: http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=173317

i am getting white screen with hd2400

I tried this too, and posted on p99 of that thread (planetf1) -- I had an error which was initially a white screen when compiz loaded, but was actually compiz failing to load. Thread has more info (and points to another one) so won't repeat there.
I also found the radeon driver problematic with multiple monitors and extended desktop - mouse pointer issues. "radeonhd" works fine though.

So is there a way to get compiz working with hd2400 ? I didn't see a radeonhd part?
