I just recently installed Fedora 9 and think it's pretty awesome. However, I'm unable to access my external USB HDD. When I plug it in, I get a message saying that Fedora is unable to mount the drive. Under 'Details' it says:

$LogFile indicates unclean shutdown. Failed to mount '/dev/sdf5': Operation not supported Mount is denied because NTFS is marked to be in use.

It went on to tell me about forcing the mount. I went into fstab and typed in what the message said (/dev/sdf5/media/External ntfs-3g force 0 0), but fstab said I didn't have permission to save the changes.

Any help would be great. Thanks.

Oh, if it helps, I should have mentioned that USB flash drives work perfectly fine in the same port.
