hi all :)
I connected a SATA HDD using a funny USB to SATA converter, it works correctly with all other HDD of my (gone) desktop system, but the master HDD which was the one to boot, if mounted this way gives access only to the -boot directory, so I cannot access root directory.
I tried to manually mount it, but the result is the same...
I am using Fedora 10 beta 2.6.27-0.352.rc7.git1.fc10.x86_64
thanks for any hint

Hook it all up
as root, run
fdisk -l
Post the results for that external HDD here
Sounds like that external may have been part of an Logical Volume set - but lets make sure.
