I just installed F10 beta and am trying to get a Logitech Quickcam Connect working. According to the release notes and various sites, this is supported out of the box now, using the zc3xx gscpa module.

The problem is, I plug in the camera and no /dev/video* device gets created. I've tried loading the gspca_zc3xx module using modprobe and it gets installed, but there still is no video device created.

Anybody have any ideas on what is needed to get this working?

I have the identical with Logitech Communicate.

I also have another issue, I have installed FC10 on my machine with FC8 installed too. Problem It messed up my Grub to the extent that it no longer boots my FC8, what I get is a message sayin I have more than one installed system as '/' root and then says to cease the install. Problem How do I fix the double rot issue, I usually install all systems to the '/' root but now in FC10 it n0o longer likes it !. Any thoughts to fix this would be appreciated. thanks Des Cavin
