preugrade stalls - Sulphur to Rawhide

When I use the preupgrade to install the Rawhide over the Sulfur everything goes smoothly till the stage - Download Boot images. At this point it stalls forever and the progress bar is almost 80% complete and it says "Downloading installer metadata".
Can anyone help me out?
