Office installation

Can anyone tell me the repository to install open office? I use Fedora 8.

It's in the main/updates repo, which should be active by default. Open Add/Remove Programs to install it.

I checked. Open Office isn't an option there.

You obviously weren't looking properly. The mirrors for F8 definitely have OpenOffice in the Main and Updates repos. It's not the latest version, which you can download from the OpenOffice site and easily install, but it's there.
