Hi all,

I have an Nvidia Geforce 7300 SE and it is not working. I went to rpm.livna.org and downloaded
the most recent driver and it still does not work?
Does anyone have an idea how to fix this or is the repositories still working on it?

Thanks for all of your help.

bigmac :)

Need lots more info.

Fedora release? Architecture? Video driver packages installed? What else was done to set up graphical UI - e.g., run livna-config-display? Re-start X-server? Build Kmod?

See nvidia link in signature.

Hi Hlingler,
I do apologize for the vagueness of my last post I should have put in more info.
I am running Fedora 9 on an i386 P4 machine.
This is what I have:

[lxuser@localhost ~]$ su --login
Password:
[root@localhost ~]# config-livna-display
-bash: config-livna-display: command not found
[root@localhost ~]#

I also downloaded the Fedora 9 Livna repository to make sure
that I was able to download the file.
Here it is: kmod-nvidia-173.14.12-3.lvn9.i686.rpm
I have restarted the x server three times and nothing?

Thanks for your help,

bigmac

No: the command is:
livna-config-display

Or find the GUI launcher in the menus.

Also, you might have to install the akmod-nvidia package and build the kmod. See the Livna section in the tutorial, and Post #14 there.

How do you rebuild the kmod?
