saa7134 tv tuner and remote control

hi guys, after looking a lot of guides i could manage to use the tv card, but i still cant use the remote control, i tried to use this guide

but i got stuck in the irrecord section, i got thiss message
Hold down an arbitrary button.
irrecord: gap not found, can't continue
irrecord: closing '/dev/input/by-path/pci-0000:07:02.0--event-ir'
and im totaly lost at this point, any ideas or success experiences with this tv tuner?
i use fedora 9 64 and i have a kworld plustv

ok guys i could manage to use irrecord, instead of hold down i keep pressing keys, but my new problem is than everykey i press has the same value

i try setup lirc but this control just say this ( /var/log/messages ):

Sorry still no luck, i get those messages too, i just press another button, but when i see the conf file all the keys have the same value
