I'm installing MythDora for use on my television, so I need an svideo or dvi output. I'm using a geforce fx5500.
I believe mythdora 5 is based on Fedora 8. My bios in this motherboard will not let me disable the onboard video, how do I stop fedora from probing for it? I know I need to blacklist it somehow but I'm not exactly sure how to do it.

My old MSI board also has onboard (Intel) video and no BIOS switch to disable it. But, it's automatically disabled when a card is placed in the AGP slot. Is Fedora trying to use the onboard video? Maybe some more details about the board will help the experts here (me excluded)

Sorry... It was locking up with FC6 now that I installed 8 it seems to be working on my tv... only thing I don't have working is the mouse.... but I think I'll be able to sort this out by searching the forums...
thanks.
