Edit: One very common error in the comments to the photos. The one where a Mr Larkin is cleaning the face of the clock called "Big Ben" Surely, these people should know that the bell inside the clock tower is called "Big Ben" and not the clock itself! Idyits!

I'm a Londoner and I've never seen Big Ben, although I've heard it on many occasions! :D

Morning all, i remember seeing big ben for the first, but was a bit dissapointed as it was alot smaller than i thought it would be
Wayne being the resident expert on beer (cough alcoholic :) ) what would you say is the average alcohol in a home brew? cos my head is thumping this morning :(

G'day Dave,

Well, that would depend if the home brewer was sticking to style or getting the biggest bang for his malt :) I've had Milds from 2.8% up to 3.4%, Bitters from 3.6% to over 5% and IPA's (APA's) around the 6% mark. Now, this brewer might have been aiming for a Samichlaus clone (around 14%, I believe)

All that yeast residue is good for bowel movement though :)

Hey Wayne
the home brewer is me, its one of those 40pt kits, i put an extra kg of sugar ! :D so that may be why its seems so strong,
Geordie bitter was the name on the kit i made, very nice to! :) too nice, im gonna end up a alcoholic at this rate :)
