I am new to Linux (Fedora 9). I have a host name with Godaddy.com I have a static IP with AT&T with the name server information provided by AT&T.Shoud I and/or How do I configure my Fedour server for DNS. Should I 1) Use the AT&T name server information, 2) use Godaddy name server information, 3) create my own DNS server, or 4) a combination of the three.)

I am exploring the possibility of establishing a Hosting site for several of my personal friends with the goal of becoming commerically available. This is a trial configuration at home. I am using the native Apache Web Server, Sendmail, VsFTP, MySQL, and I have download ISPconfig for my control panel for the web sites.

The installation has gone well however the ISPconfig application is looking for a named file and my investigate lead me to having a DNS configuration installed.

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated!

For myself, when the DNS is hosted by the registrar or other outside hosting, I don't even run bind.
