fedora 9 dvd could not find kernel image: linux

i boot up my dvd and it just tells me it "could not find the kernel image: linux"
please help, also i decided to use cd's instead and disks 2 4 & 6 are corrupt even after multiple downloads and burns. is there another mirror i can get them from possibly?


pc specs:
hp pavilion dv6736nr notebook
2G ram
nvidia geforce go 7150m graphics card
AMD turion 64 x2

You can test if the download server is an issue by running the image files one by one through the sha1sum tool
