I have an ASUS-636N PDA, I decided that I would like very much to have it connected via WIFI to the Internet, so I purchased a cheap Edimax wireless lan usb adapter (EW-7318-UG rt73 based) because on the package - drivers for Fedora was mentioned.
In the CD I found stuff for Fedora-4, and didn't know how to make it work on my Fedora-9.
After reading web pages for a few hours I noticed in http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/ConnectionSharing
"Connection sharing allows to easily set up an ad-hoc wifi network on a machine with a network connection and a spare wireless card. If the machine has primary network connection (wired, 3G, second wireless card), routing is set up so that devices connected to the ad-hoc wifi network can share the connection to the outside network."

As I was about to give up connecting WIFI with the USB stick, I decided to give the above a try.
So, I added "rawhide" in my yumex, installed the new NetworkManager, dnsmasq and rt73usb-firmware.
I rebooted, used nm-applet to add very very very easily a new wireless lan.
I took about 1 minute for the NetworkManager to setup the new lan (based on the output of /var/log/message) and 2 minutes for the PDA to bring up a connection.

This work very well.
I am using Skype on top of this link.

Kudos to DanWilliams :) and the F10 team
