Tux Racer very very slow

I so far had RH 7, 8 and 9 versions and now I am using Fedora Core 2. In all the versions I was unable to play Tux Racer since it is very very slow. FYI I am using a NVIDIA GForce AGP card. Will it not work in this card?

My processor is AMD Athlon 2.7Ghz with 512MB DDR RAM.

Please give me suggestions.

Your problem seems to be due to a lack of direct rendering or DRI. You should attempt to use the latest driver from nvidia, as they just issued an update. also, check out http://dri.sf.net/
Also, if you wait a couple of week, RPMs should be availabe specificly for fc2.
