Hi,
I install Fedora Core 9 with default setting running GNOME GUI. At first, the sounds doesn't work at all. All system sounds doesn't work too.
I type "dmesg |grep -i sound" and get the following messages:

I am not sure if my built-in sound card has problems with that but it works on my windows vista.
I then simply install "alsa-oss.i386" package and the sound work. All system sounds work now.
However, if I go to youtube to play some video but those video are all silent. I am sure the sound volume has switch on. Any ideas? Please advice.
Thank you.
