Installation Error FC1

I have a 40 gig hd, with only one partition, C: (20 GB), which has windows 2003 server installed on it and is NTFS formatted. The rest of the hd space is unformatted and does not have a label. I booted with disc 1 of FC1 to install FC on the unused hd space, but I get this message when I pass the "Verify Media" thingy:

Running anaconda, the Fedora Core system installer - please wait...

you may safely reboot your system.

I have tried running the setup with the following parameters:
linux noprobe nofb skipddc, but I get the same error.

My detailed pc specs are below:

AMD 2200 +XP
ECS K7S7AG DDR AGP motherboard
DDR 128M PC2100 / AC97 Sound
Maxtor 40G 7200 rpm H.D. ATA 133
LG 52x CD-writer
NEC 16x dvd rom
Xabre 64M DDR video card onboard
10/100 LAN onboard & AC97 Sound onboard

Windows 2003 Server installed on primary partition C:
Rest is empty hd space and unformatted.

More specifically, typing this at the boot prompt fixes the error:
