Hi I'm using fedora core 1 :) the other day I changed my video card from a nvidia mx400 to a saphire 9200se. so I can get tv out. The monitor is an LG F700B which is not in the list of LG monitors.
Now the colour has all but dissapeared and it seems that the brightness is up full and the screen still looks washed out and difficult to use:(
I have not got a clue what to do.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

kudzu seemed to find the card ok and installed it.
I just looked for XFree86.conf and got an error message of "warning : database /var/lib/slocate/slocate.db is more than 8 days old
then it stopped

I found XFree86.conf file finally
It seems to recognise the video card

I changed my video card to the generic vesa driver.
this improved the problem to a state which I can now use fedora again.
I still would like to get it back to a setting with full colour etc using the 9200 driver
any info would be appreciated
