FC1 can't see network card

I've installed FC1 onto on old laptop (IBM ThinkPad 600E). The system has no network card on board so I fitted a D-Link DE-650 in the PCMCIA slot.

I discovered after the install that I hadn't seated the card properly in the slot :o and FC1 had not seen it. I've pushed it properly home now but how do I get FC1 to find it?

just use "#kudzu"
it should detect the card and go through the configuration. afterwards use "system-config-network" or "setup" for setting up the card correctly.
