Will this release address the problems with:
1. Dual booting with regards to windows and
2. Firewire support

Otherwise, why is this release so soon after FC2 if these issues are not addresed?

What problems were you having with dual booting using FC2? I am dual booting with WinXP and have not had any issues. Just curious.

There is an issue in FC2 that can cause hard disk geometry that is reported in the partition table to be altered during installation of FC2, which in turn can cause the Windows portion of the drive to become "not bootable". For more information, the thread at http://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-devel-list/2004-May/msg00908.html goes into detail and provides a way of recovering if this happens to you.
