I never really like the taskbar, I'm not fond of clunky panels and menu's. Right now I'm stuck on a windows 98 machine with nothing but Paint and MSN  I made this ;) ;)

How do you reckon the user experience could be imporved for gnome?

PS: soz about my spelling mistakes in the picy... with M$ Paint you can't re-edit text...

Hi jzke,

i dont want to dampen your spirits or anything, but this is why we have freedom of choice and many different GUI'd to choose from.. not all gui's are panel driven, although i do agree with you that there are things to be done that needs improving.. However, having said that and i also should point out im and old kde user from way back, i personaly find the new gnome bluecurve interface quite appealing... the only thing i dont like is the big ass taskbar which i promptly fixed by reducing its scale down from 48 to 30 pixels in preferences...

But i give you 10 outta 10 for being creative... :)
