i have an integrated graphics card. 82845G chipset. 1GB of RAM. when i start it up, ram is used to about 32% and goes to 47% with a few apps open, when i enable compix-fusion, my computer starts to crawl. yet RAM and CPU load are not maxed out. 20% for CPU (2.8GHz P4) and 51% for RAM. i highly suspect the driver is at fault. fedora default to intel - Experimental modesetting driver. when i want to change it to, e.g. i810 (which i have installed), the x.org does not start.

Answer on this thread:

GM965 driver for FC9 (http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=190549)

In short, F9 does not provide accelerated driver for Intel GMA X3xxx graphics.
