When I installed FC9 I checked the boxes to install both gnome and KDE. Installation went fine but gnome is the default desktop. I'm unable to get KDE desktop. If I recall, in fc7 and fc8, there was a "change session" option in the shut down box. I don't see it there now in fc9. It allowed you to go from KDE to gnome and back again. Is it still available and how do you use it? If not available can I still get to use KDE and then go back to gnome. I'm new at this and would like to try both so I can learn more. Thanks.

Once you enter your login name the option will appear at the bottom of the screen.

Hi Dan. Sorry, but I'm not sure I remember you. It's been a while since I used the forum much except recently and so I am not sure I remember you. Very sorry. Please refresh my memory. Thanks. Bob

Lol! No worries, Bob! It's been almost a year since the last time we spoke about a Thunderbird email issue. Just good to see you back on the forum. <..:)..>

OK. Guess it has been a while. By the strangest of coincidences, I was going to ask if Firefox and have a link in it to read mail from Thunderbird, instead of having to open T-Bird separately each time to read email. I think there was a link in the tools section in Firefox in the past. Not there now. Any help is appreciated. Thanks Dan. Bob
