Fedora service configuration

Dear all

I need your help to finish my task because i'm not sure about my taks( sorry for that though i've already searched but still unclear)
In requirement, these are listed
Group 3 - Topic: Anti-spam gateway testbed

Introduction to VMware, Installation
Fedora Installation, management
Service configuration: WWW, FTP, SSH, SMTP, POP3, DNS
Focus on DNS and Sendmail configuration
Email gateway mechanisms



What is the difference of requirements between " service configuration " and " focus on ..configuration". Can u give me more details about requirements for task " service configuration", can u list some headings for this?

I've just tried google to help me but, i think it's better if u can help me.

Is this fora college class or something?

Normally the difference in the description is what you will be doing ("Service configuration") and what you will actually spending the majority of your time studying ("Focus on ... configuration"). If you need help understanding any part of the tasks, ask away, but be as specific as possible. The people on this board are very knowledgeable and can help you out.

Firstly , thanks for fast reply, our group's tutor are so busy but due time is comming so soon.

I see no difference between " service configuration " and simply " focus on.. configuration" , may the difference belong to the concentration of what i will be doing as u said . i'm responsible for 1st task" service configuration" for WWW( HTTP).FTP , and DNS
I intend to focus on how to use those service on aspect of an administrator, such as how to start , turn on, turn off, add a new user, change configuration. But i'm still not sure much, can you outline for me some contents ?

IF u have materials, that wil be great help for me, i've found a lot, but of course ,filtering is a hard work in a short time.
