I have an FC8 with Samba installed, what happens is specially with win98 computers, if the application open and closes many files or it processes many records, the samba session for that user on the server closes (the user disapears!!) and the workstation becomes bloqued if we try to open the network drive, in those cases we have to restart the workstation to continue working with the maped drive to the samba Share on the Server.
Where can I see why it fails? and closes the user!!
