in fedora9, kde4 version . . . i've installed vbox and have all the media stuff working. sound, dvd, mp3 ect. (forums are good references), i'm still new only 9 or so months in from windows. I installed ubuntu, then sidux. always wanted to try the famous fedora, and since version8 the live cd's have been able to detect most of my hardware.
I'm using an hp dv6263cl laptop w/ duo core and 2gb ram, intel 3945 wireless, still have the devil vista that came with it, multi-booting with antiX m7.1 and puppy k2.6.25 and now i've added fedora9 into the mix.
oh yea, still dunno what i'm doing . . . :) but I like it so far. 10 months ago i only "heard" of linux.

That is good news!
Just a heads-up, though. You're gonna have a blast, and once in a while, updates may break things, but for that very reason and so many more ... fedora is addicting. Just like adrenaline! <..:p..>
Welcome aboard!

Best way to find out is to boot into Fedora 9 for yourself. Unless somebody happens to read this post who has F9 and the same models of your peripherals, that's the only sure bet for that.
If you have trouble getting them to work in Linux, ask here in the forums. People might ask you to post some configuration files or have some helpful hints. I won't, since I'm no expert at all, but that's not really related.

You could try a LiveCD (though I do not guarantee that all drivers are on those discs so it might just be wasted effort -- I never use LiveCDs).
