I do not know what happened to my printer

Fedora 9 preview my printer worked just fine, now with Fedora 9 it is like there is no printer there. Apparently cups is not installed. Yet I have a Brother HL-2140 printer connected, is there any way to manually install cups?????? :confused:

I just did yum install cups and cups is installed.

umm.. is there no cups via yum? Go to terminal and go to root or if you don;t know how then type this su -, then type in your password. Now type in yum install cups, then press y and hit enter. Remove the periods/commas if you typed in that stuff along with the commands. The thing about hardware/software is if there is an error it usually wont run so the errors must be fixed unless there nothing worth fixing and everything still runs fine lol.

You would not believe what I did to get my printer working--I unplugged my USB cable and plugged it back in.
