hi, i'm new to Fedora 8 and was trying to learn some of it. Well i installed it, and got the net working, but still are having graphics problems with my ATI Radeon XPress 200 integrated graphics card. I read up on it on google and found a driver to install for it and a command to run after the installation. Well the problem is that its a .run file and i have no idea of the terminal command to run it from my fedora desktop. Any help would be great. Thank you.

Do yourself a huge favor and don't touch that thing. Erase it.
Go to the "Guides and How-Tos" forum and find the sticky-thread on "How to get ATI cards working" and follow it to install the RPM re-packaged driver - it's the same exact driver, but has been specially packaged so that your software install/update tools can manipulate it, and so that it doesn't mess up other stuff on your OS like those binaries can do. If for no other reason than updates will be automatic.

You don't need to bother checking the ATI site if you don't want to - I already spent the 30 seconds, and your chipset is supported by the driver (ATI Catalyst™ 8.4 Proprietary Linux x86/x86_64 Display Driver, aka "fglrx"). ;)
