I installed the FC9-beta like 2 weeks ago. It performs extremely stable and fast end kde4 will be my standard Gui from now on.
All yum updates I started daily completed successful except today's one. The error is
"Package gnome-settings-daemon-2.22.1-0.2008.03.26.7.fc9.i386.rpm is not signed"
After a reboot of yesterdays yum update, there is a problem starting up "haldaemon". The boot process waits almost 3 Min and reports the haldaemon failed and continuous successfully the boot process.
As a result there is an error displayed from pulseaudio. If this error is not known yet, let me know and i will sent the dmesg and messages logs and any other info you would require

I got the same problem updating : "Package gnome-settings-daemon-2.22.1-0.2008.03.26.7.fc9.i386.rpm is not signed". None of the other errors
I hope it will be fixed soon.

I forgot to mention, once the system is running, "haldaemon" can be started and restarted successfully from the prompt "/etc/init.d/haldaemon restart".

Make these simple steps...
1
#yum clean all
2
#yum upgrade

Less drastic:
rm /var/cache/yum/fedora/packages/gnome-settings-daemon-2.22.1-0.2008.03.26.7.fc9.i386.rpm

People, has anyone reported the problem to Bugzilla? That is the only way to get things corrected before Fedora 9 goes Final. Workarounds are fine, but we want the developers to know all the issues and put out the best version possible.

The correct option?
[root@deymos ~]# yum --nogpgcheck update
