Works fine for me, so no specific issue with Firefox3 not liking the Flash plugins.

Have you checked that all your plugins are properly installed for FF3? "About:plugins" without quotes in the address bar.

If it worked in FF2, then it might be something as simple as copying them to the plugins folder under where ever you have FF3.

Well, one thing I have noticed is that I can't install the Flash plugin via the "Install Plugin" option. I recieve this error:
Firefox could not install this item because "install-uuo..rdf" (provided by the item) is not well-formed or does not exist. Please contact the author about this problem. It works fine on my ubuntu box though, so I thought it was a Fedora issue.
I'm going to add the Adobe repo to see if I can add the plugin that way.

Make sure your computer is updated 100%. I was having problems until I updated. Might help you out. If not look into adding the livna repos and adding some additional plugins and or updating your plugins

I have updated the system and installed non free plugins from livna repository.
The strange thing is that I see the video player on youtube, can play and stop the video but nothing appears...

I've done everything it says here: http://docs.fedoraproject.org/release-notes/f8/en_US/sn-Desktop.html#sn-Enabling-Flash-Plugin but still no luck with flash. No sign of flash plugin on about:plugins...

Edit:
Fixed with
yum install swfdec-mozilla

Interesting... I added the Adobe repo and installed flash. Video plays fine but there is no sound. I'll try the swfdec-mozilla plugin and see how that fares.

With the Adobe packages, you also need libflashsupport installed to get sound.
