I have been on fedora 9 beta for about 4 days now and have had several annoyances with Minefield. BTW when did Firefox become Minefield, I must have missed that. Anywho, issue 1 is bookmarks will only go on the toolbar or under the command bar dropdown. I like to browse with a sidebar of bookmarks but these days it is totally empty. I used the import feature in Minefield to try to get old Firefox bookmarks (Firefox 2.0.3 on gentoo) from the .mozilla files but it seems that nothing happens. The import function opens with the statement that no programs containing bookmarks, history, etc. could be found. Well it is right about that because I just saved the bookmark file from the old .mozilla so no other browsers are running, but there is no way to point to this file with import. Finally if I move the old bookmarks to the new bookmark file they don't show up (not really a surprise since the new ones don't show either. I won't post this to bugzilla because it seems to be a Firefox issue to me rather than a Fedora bug, but I would be very interested if anyone else is having problems like this or if someone has a fix. Thanks.
