View Full Version : How Good is Texlive Support in the Current Fedora 9 Release?

I am asking because I trialled Fedora 8 for awhile, and while I vastly preferred it over Ubuntu, the one thing that drove me back to that distro was the greater number of Texlive packages available. Being a psychology student, 90% of what I do on my computer involves using LaTeX, and the convenience of packages such as Texlive Publishers being readily available in the repos is a big boon for me. So I'm just wondering if more packages have become available at this point, because it is the one thing holding me back from permanently adopting Fedora as my main distro.

Good question.
I've been trying to figure out how to configure or start it for a month.
I doubt if more than a hand full of users have used it enough to grade.

Not very user friendly, but I do notice an oo-writer plugin.
