As a fulltime composer of classical music, i have a nice setup on the studio box, with a tweaked and refined Ubuntustudio, and a whole pile of audio related programmes.

and i've installed F9 on my G4 ppc powerbook, with the intent of putting a couple of these programmes in as 'travel progs', for quick drafts of tunes, etc..

I'm a new linux user, and have struggled with this, i will freely admit.

So my question is, have any of you installed any of the following programmes, and do you have any tips or tricks that might help me do the same?
Linuxsampler
Muse sequencer.
MuseScore
Qtractor
Nted

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Alex.

I gather no one is using these programmes in F9 PPC. I'll keep plugging away at it, and report back if i get successful. If some kind soul could at least look at a spec file and point me in the right direction, i'd appreciate it. Linuxsampler is the main target.

Thanks,

Alex.
